Call me old fashioned. Call me slow minded. Just don’t get in my way at lunch time cause then, I’m a streak of lightening and a clap of thunder! And sometimes, I crave a good old fashioned hot dog like the ones they make in Chicago! Since I live in Forsyth Missouri, that means I have only one place to go get one and that’s Sonics located on Highway 160 close to Coy Blvd.
Ever since about March, 2011, they’ve been offering a mouth watering Chicago Dog along with three other variations. They’re part of a $1.99 promotion that’s still going strong, as of today, and even though this ‘Chidog’ comes in at 400 calories – it’s great taste and cheap price more than make up for it. Note: I do my best to not order the fries to go with the dog, but I am only human!
