St. Patrick’s Day special at the Mug!

Forsyth, Mo. – Even as the price of corned beef and other meats has soared in 2020-21, John’s Frosted Mug is proud to be able to offer a traditional Saint Patrick’s Day meal special that is very affordable at $8.99!

The Cafe

But wait! if you’d take a short walk over to The Cafe, you’ll find a whole ‘new experience’ in store for both your taste buds and eyeballs.

Yes, at The Cafe the management has gone to great lengths, (as in sausage links), to put together what could be the most memorable St. Patrick’s Day meal you’ve ever encountered! On March 17 and on March 17 only, the resident chef will be offering his signature ‘Leprechaun’ meal-a-deal that includes two hearty Scottish sausages, caramelized asparagus and cornbread all smothered in the owner’s special sauce! Yesss!

Normally referred to as the Titanic!

What the Leprechaun meal lacks in eye appeal, is more than made up in both taste and cost! At only $2.99 per steaming plate, it’s a sure bet to lure in some of the more ‘interesting’ citizens that live in and about the Forsyth area.

Yes, at The Cafe, you’ll often find yourself eating cheek to jowl with people you’ve never met (or would ever want to meet), eating at the same table (sorry, we have a shortage of places to sit at The Cafe). What we can guarantee is a sure fire memorable experience every time you enter The Cafe!

Jimmy Prambles, Forsyth – ‘Me and my sweetie went there and we had ourselves the Snapper Platter! I never knew seafood to be so darn chewy!

Barb Settle, Rockaway Beach – ‘I went in there, all by myself, on a Friday and had myself a dollar beer along with the Covid Platter special. It was interesting.’
