Being an old guy myself, I watched an even older Bidden presser on March the 25th not without a bit trepidation.
There he stood in all his glory. The leader of the free world. A man that many free nations took notice of while evil doers trembled from. A man the exuded the confidence of one of the greatest Republics of all time…. But, wait up just a second. That wasn’t what I saw at all!
Biden, to me, was the very antithesis of authority and confidence. Rather he appeared weak, unsure and even confused at times. He appeared the diametric opposite of the man who stood before our nation just a few short months ago. He seemed…. somehow defeated.
I swear to one and all, that just five minutes into that tragic Shakespearean comedy of pathos, I even gave a fleeting thought to going on a bender! I’m not sure if it was him reading from prepared note cards or perhaps it was the pamphlet that clarified who each press member was, along with a tiny photo. And then there was the content of his opening remarks. I have to admit that as the moments ticked by, my jaw kept sagging a little bit lower….
There was more. Much more. But anyone who watched that disaster already understands a few great truths; 1) that Joe Biden was paraded as a puppet in front of the entire world. 2) that Joe Biden was not in command of anything. That there were others standing in the shadows who were. And 3) that Joe Biden had emboldened our enemies in a manner few could do in so short a time.
I almost felt bad for this mentally ill individual, who was standing so timidly at the podium watching. Watching in dull fashion, while our country was actively being ripped apart.
