Thursday’s outlook

Drought is upon us…..for Taney County and the rest of the Central US!

The only chance for meaningful precipitation for September One – Showers likely, with thunderstorms also possible after 10am. Partly sunny, with a high near 89. Calm wind becoming southwest around 6 mph in the morning. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

That evening. A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 69. Chance of precipitation is 40%. Look’s like Missouri has one shot at precipitation between Saturday and early next week. Welcome to September everyone!

On top of everything else we have been forced to endure, there is the ongoing likelihood of extensive drought.
