A simple man with a head full of sand who is currently residing in Forsyth Missouri. I enjoy hiking, camping and all things related to gardening. I graduated from SIU, majoring in Biology and still maintain a great interest in the study of all living things. My current hobbies include meteorology, politics and lounging around in cyberspace whenever possible.
Yes, they still are. You can contact Jerry Pagan, Chief of Police for Merriam Woods to sign up for the next class. I’m not sure of the tel number but you can get it from the Merriam Woods office at (417) 561-4341. Have a great Day!
I liked your article about the Chicago Hot Dog. We moved here from Wisconsin and love it, but miss our Wisconsin Cod Friday night Fish Fries… somehow the catfish fries just don’t take the place of them. I’ve looked high and low in Missouri for a good Cod fish fry with no luck.
I wonder how many people from other states have a favorite that they miss also.
I’ve never had Cod and fries and would love to try some. If I hear of anyone serving this dish I’ll try and let you know. Thanks for the nice comments!

The internet allows many people to write and share ideas and that is good. I am also pleased that you are evidently concerned about the issue of illegal immigration. This is a friendly reminder to let you know such practices can be illegal and result in expensive litigation.
Unfortunately many people don’t take my requests seriously until they have to pay an attorney a hefty retainer after they are served with a court summons.
I encourage you to seek competent legal counsel to advise you of your rights and responsibilities regarding copying others work.
I will check back to confirm the removal of material. I appreciate your cooperation.
I have removed the material and apologize. I had thought this material to be under public domain and must have missed your disclaimer. Also, please be advised I will investigate your claim to this material. Have a nice day.
Dan–I am excited to discover your blog and have numerous questions about Forsyth. I relocated to the community a year ago and one of the top burning inquiries I have is “Where are the hidden gems for working out? i.e. Are there any workout facilities in Forsyth? Church basements? Others?”. Oddly enough, that is the only thing that I am missing. I love living here.
Hi…..are you still doing conceal and carry classes in Taney County?
